Investigations are continuing into a fire at Glenburnie last week.
The blaze started about 4.30pm on February 22 within a pine plantation and burnt through more than 20ha.
CFS and forestry industry firefighters battled the fire, which took a day to control.
A SAPOL spokesperson said as the result of assessment made by Crime Scene Investigators, in collaboration with CFS Fire Cause Investigators, police were “satisfied the cause of the fire is not suspicious or deliberate”.
“Investigations are continuing to account for people who were in the area before the fire,” the spokesperson said.
“Police appeal to anyone who has information about the fire, or was present in the pine forest south of Princes Highway Glenburnie and east of Vorwerk/Caroline Road between 3pm and 4.30pm to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
