Agroup of Nangwarry CFS volunteers were recognised for their service to the organisation last week.

The CFS brigade held a medal presentation at its shed, with members from Region 5 in attendance as well as Wattle Range CFS Group Officer Fred Stent.

SA CFS regional operations manager Danny Crozier attended to present brigade captain Alan Ferguson with a 10 year service medal, while long-standing volunteer Doreen Hodgson was recognised for 40 years of service.

Gavin Riddle attended and accepted two medals on behalf of his late father Max Riddle, who was posthumously awarded a 30 year and 40 year medal.
