Green Triangle Forest Products (GTFP), headquartered in Mount Gambier, will be marketed for sale according to Managing Director Laurie Hein.
GTFP is owned by investment funds which are advised by Global Forest Partners LP, a leading global forestry investment advisor headquartered in New Hampshire in the United States.
GTFP is managed locally by a high-quality forestry team. GTFP’s estate is planted with radiata pine and comprises a freehold land area of 24,700 ha with a total productive area of 22,200 ha.
The company directly and indirectly employs about 80 people in the Mount Gambier region.
The business has a strong domestic focus, predominantly supplying well-established customers in the region that serve the Australian market.
“We appreciate that this may potentially create some uncertainty for those involved with GTFP,” Mr Hein said.
“GTFP is a high-quality, sustainable business with strong values. It will be business as usual for our team throughout this process to ensure we continue to deliver to our usual high standards for our customers and other key partners.”
The sale process will be managed by Resolute Advisory.
