Fuel station break-in investigated

Police are investigating a break-in at a Penola service station last week. About 6am on July 11, police responded to alarm activations at a service station on Church Street.

When patrols arrived they found damage to the front window of the store. Police reviewed security footage which showed a dark coloured sedan reverse through the front window of the building. Two occupants of the car are then seen to enter and attempt to open secure cigarettes cabinets causing significant damage.

Both suspects returned to the vehicle empty handed and drove off. Police urge anyone who may have information or witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at that time to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
