Funding helps improve Men’s Shed safety

The Kingston community Men’s Shed has received $4450 in federal government funding. The funding was allocated through the National Shed Development Program.

Member for Barker Tony Pasin welcomed the decision. “This funding means the Kingston SE Community Men’s Shed can invest in a defibrillator, 6x fire extinguishers, test and tag training and test and tag equipment,” he said.

Mr Pasin said it was vitally important that shed members felt valued and remained connected to their community during a period that was difficult for many Australians.
