Abare area alongside a former George Street bank has recently been beautified and become the Millicent Community Garden.
It sits alongside the Millicent Community Centre which has been the base for ac.care for almost 20 years.
This community space will be a place to meet, to learn or share skills, connect through play and to grow.
A celebration to mark the opening of the Millicent Community Garden will be held on August 29.
The opening day festivities will start at 11am with formalities at 11.30am, followed by a free lunch from 12pm.
