Acontract has recently been written for the sale of a Tantanoola grazing property.
A local farming operation is understood to have made a multi-million-dollar offer for “Goolpenna”.
It is an established grazing property of 704 acres and held by the Nitschke family since 1878.
“Goolpenna” was offered for sale earlier this year via the expressions of interest process.
There are two dwellings on the property and it is said to be ideally suited to grazing pursuits, with, a two stand shearing shed and set of timber cattle yards with loading ramp.
According to the selling agents, the property has consistently run 125 cows and 125 calves and 100 yearlings or 2200 wethers when the owners had sheep.
