Two Millicent men were arrested and charged with firearms offences last week.
Police from Limestone Coast CIB conducted a search of a Millicent home resulting in the seizure of three firearms and 24 cannabis plants on Wednesday.
A 24-year-old man from Millicent was charged with two counts of possessing a firearm without a licence, manufacturing a firearm, possessing a firearm without an identifying mark, possessing ammunition without a licence and cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis.
He appeared before the Mount Gambier Magistrates court late last week.
In a separate matter, a Millicent man faced court after he was arrested for firearm and drug offences.
Mount Gambier police stopped a Holden sedan and discovered drug paraphernalia and cannabis within the vehicle on Tuesday.
Following investigations police searched a Millicent address and located a hydroponic cannabis set up together with two firearms and ammunition.
The 36-year-old Millicent man was arrested and appeared before the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court.
He was charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis, possession of a controlled drug, two counts of possession of a firearm without a licence, possessing ammunition without a licence, unlawful possession and driving a vehicle without a licence.
He has been remanded in custody until February 17, 2025.
