AMount Gambier woman has returned home from a holiday in Adelaide with her best friends to discover she’d won more than $154,000 in a recent Super 66 draw.
The South Australian held the only division one winning entry in Super 66 draw 4261 on May 21. She took home a prize of $154,099.75.
An official from The Lott spoke to the winner after she discovered the exciting news.
“I was in Adelaide for the week catching up with some girlfriends,” she said.
“When I got home, I checked my mail and I found a letter telling me to check my Super 66 ticket.
“So, this morning, I checked my ticket and then I called you. I cannot believe it.
“This is a lovely surprise! It’s just great. I’m over the moon!
“I feel like the luckiest lady in the world. Oh wow! Oh my god!
“This is amazing! It’s the greatest thing.
“I love playing Super 66. I usually buy a ticket each week.
“I have been playing for over 10 years, but I have never had a win like this. It’s mind-boggling.
“I cannot wait to tell my children. I have to tell someone about this! I cannot keep it a secret. I just want to scream that I have won!
“The first thing I’ll do is pay some house bills. I’d also love to get solar panels installed and then save the rest for a rainy day.”
The woman purchased her winning entry at Campbell’s Newsagency at Marion shopping centre.
