As part of planned maintenance works, the rear car park at Millicent Hospital is being repaired due to damage caused by heavy vehicles.
The repair works cost approximately $155,000 and are part of the minor works asset sustainment budget for the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.
ACM Plumbing, a local contractor in Millicent, has been engaged to undertake the repairs.
Repair works include kerbing, excavation and stormwater drainage, as well as resurfacing the carpark area and widening of entry/exits.
“The front car park at Millicent Hospital remains available onsite,” a Limestone Coast Local Health Network spokesperson said.
“The repairs are not expected to delay the Millicent Hospital open day scheduled for mid-October.”
