Hot shot conquers all

The latest monthly competition held by the South East Field and Game Association went the way of one man, Jeremy Kent.

Kent did not miss a shot in the 75-Target Sporting Clays event held recently, recording a perfect score to secure High Gun honours.

AA Grade was another big win, this time to Jamie Dunn, who finished up with 72/75.

Gavin Dyson and Leigh Dunn filled the minor places with 67/75.

A Grade went down to the wire after Anthony Arscott and Bill Dyson both scored 61/75, but the win went to the former.

Only three targets split the B Grade podium finishers of Dale Smith, Charles Wallis and Darren Murrell.

Ian Lister won C Grade by four targets, while Seniors went to Chris Wright by the same margin.

The Veterans class was a tight affair with Chris VonStanke edging out Rolf Bugden by the slim one-target advantage.

Ruby Lawrence defeated Tasha Bellinger by four targets to take home the Ladies trophy.

Sub Juniors was fiercely fought between Kain Ashby and Shakielle VonStanke and the former won the ultimate prize, while 69/75 was good enough for Declan Wright to win the junior class.
