The Mount Gambier Theatre Group’s hilarious pantomime version of Snow White is coming to the stage.
Over 50 local performers of all ages will bring a reimagined version of Snow White to life at the Wehl Street Theatre this December.
Packed with vibrant costumes, side splitting comedy and catchy songs, this family friendly show promises fun for all ages.
Get ready for a magical adventure as Snow White, the seven dwarfs and the wickedly evil villain bring the classic tale to life.
Written by Ben Crocker and directed by Mount Gambier Theatre Group president Cameron Horsburgh, the production brings the classic Snow White tale to life in a new way.
“I chose the script because it tells a classic story we all know, but with a few twists, some great music, and lots of laughs,” Mr Horburgh said.
“If people just want some good, family-friendly entertainment, this is the show for them.”
The production features local performers, including a live band, with adult and children actors sharing the stage and a team of volunteers behind the scenes making the magic happen.
The Mount Gambier Theatre Group is a not-for-profit community organisation that has been operating for almost 70 years.
Over that time, the group has helped people of all ages get involved in local theatre.
Each year the group takes to the stage to put on amateur productions for the public.
The group also holds weekly workshops for kids, teens and adults to build on performers confidence and creativity.
Performances will be held at the Wehl Street Theatre on December 6, 7, 13 and 11 with showtime starting at 7pm.
