Industries bale funds

The generosity of the local farming and transport industries has again come to the fore, with a load of hay donated to a Mount Gambier community organisation. Wayne and Samantha Saffin donated a load of hay to the Riding for the Disabled group, to feed its horses during winter.

Local trucking operator James Kitschke donated his truck and trailer, while Mount Gambier Hay Run coordinator Adam Smith delivered the load and Mark Fairlie offered a tractor to unload and stack the hay.

Mr Smith said the hay run volunteers pulled together after being alerted to RDA’s situation by long-timer supporter and fellow hay run member Scott Simpson.
