Dentons Sportspower co-owner Donna Denton said she believes that watching Olympic athletes perform at the highest level can be incredibly motivating.

“These athletes spend years training to be the best in their sport, and their dedication can inspire people from all ages to push themselves harder in their own fitness journeys,” she said.

“Whether it’s running, rowing, cycling, playing a sport (basketball, soccer) or lifting weights, we have the equipment to help the everyday athlete to reach their goals.

“We encourage everyone to set new fitness goals and work towards achieving them.

“Having the correct footwear for your feet and training apparel designed to improve performance can make a big difference.

“We encourage customers to look for moisture-wicking fabrics, compression gear and lightweight materials.

“Hopefully, this Olympic Games will motivate people to be interested in using the same equipment as their favourite athletes.”
