Interest builds for former primary school

More than 20 private inspections have been made by potential purchasers of the former Tantanoola Primary School.

It has been vacant for over three years after closing due to declining enrolments.

It dates back to 1881 and is located on eight acres.

Expressions of interest closed on March 16 and selling agent Bianca Taylor is confident of a positive outcome.

Meanwhile, her firm has sold the former St Clare’s Catholic Church in Tantanoola to an interstate couple, with figure in excess of the $669,000 asking price achieved for the landmark property.
