JP reappointed

Retired council employee Elaine Donaldson has been reappointed as a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the coming 10 years.

Her reappointment was published last week in the South Australian Government Gazette and expires on April 11, 2032.

The Beachport resident is perhaps best-known for her voluntary efforts with the seaside branch of the National Trust and its museum in the former wool and grain store in Railway Terrace.

Must of her working life was spent in administration with the Beachport and Wattle Range councils.

The council website has an up-to-date list of local JPs.
