The school’s leadership team collaborated with the local Mount Gambier Jolly Soles organisation representative to complete a fundraiser at the school in the form of a crazy sock day.
All staff, students and families were given the opportunity to purchase some Jolly Soles Crazy Socks for only $5 a pair.
The socks sold like ‘crazy’ and the leadership team members were proud to announce they sold 170 pairs.
The school celebrated with a bright and colourful day filled with happy smiles and crazy socks.
CPS leadership team members Olivia, Will, Malcolm and Ashiah interviewed some of the students about their thoughts on Crazy Sock Day:
Harry – R/1 Class: “It is funny to see people in crazy socks”
Lily – 2/3 Class: “I liked that you can wear your favourite fruits or animals and enjoy the good times with your socks”.
Jasmine – 4/5 Class: “I like it because I get to see pugs on lots of socks”.
Serenity – 6/7 Class: “I love that everyone gets to show off their cool, crazy socks”.
