Division 1 – West Gambier v Uniting
West Gambier will host Uniting on Saturday in the top of the table clash.
After back to back weeks of wet weather both sides will be ready to get back on the court.
These sides have met twice this season with the season series tied one a piece.
In the two contests both were very competitive with not much separating the two.
The stakes will also be raised in this match as the winner will most likely take the top spot on the ladder as Uniting leads West by 3.5 points.
A match up to watch in this game will be the ladies top doubles of West’s Jess Stutley and Emily Jolley and Uniting’s Tessa Megaw and Ashlea Dunn.
Both pairs have been great all season and have not had many defeats with this match up likely to go down to the wire.
With a lot on the line these two sides should be in store for another close battle.
Mount Schank/Mil Lel/Mount Gambier v Reidy Park
Reidy Park will head to Mil Lel on Saturday to face the div 1 combined side.
These sides last met in round five where Reidy got the big win.
Like all the other grades these two sides have not seen the court in a while and will be keen to get back out there on Saturday.
A win for Reidy will help them keep their spot in third place while also getting closer to the top two race.
The combined side on the other hand are still searching for that first win of the year.
The side has shown flashes during the season but have not been able to put it all together.
A match up to watch in this game will be the ladies top singles of Reidy’s Bailey Young and Mil Lel’s Jorja Douglas.
Young has been solid and has two wins to her name, while Douglas is still looking for her first victory, despite some competitive matches.
Both will be hungry to get a set on the board this Saturday.
Division 2
In division 2 Mount Gambier and the combined side of Suttontown/Glencoe will face off at Gambier. The two sides currently occupy the top two spots on the ladder with Mount Gambier well in front on points.
A win for the combined side will help them hold their spot in second place.
The two West sides will be facing off this Saturday as West Red looks to get one back on West Blue as well as looking for their first win of the season.
Division 3
In Division 3 Mount Gambier will be hosting Uniting on Saturday, and a win to Gambier will help their chances at getting the top spot on the ladder with Centrals/Mount Schank on the bye.
Suttontown and Mil Lel will take the court out in Suttontown. Both sides could really need a win this week as Suttontown have only picked up the one win while Mil Lel are slightly better with two.
A win for Mil Lel will help move them up to third on the ladder.
Ladies Doubles
In the ladies doubles competition first place Reidy Park and Mount Schank will face off at Olympic Park.
