League keeps out of opening round controversy

The Mid South East Netball Association executive will not intervene following a controversial senior match played in the opening round on April 13.

The match was one-sided but the tone of the contest has been the subject of much speculation in on-line forums and other conversations.

Some hints about the match’s intensity were provided in the 750-word match report published on the official MSENA website.

Further interest was generated in a social media post from one of the participating players which was placed three days after the match.

More than 400 persons have responded to the post.

MSENA president Sara Gray was approached for comment about its aftermath by The SE Voice.

“This has been handled internally by both clubs as per MSENA procedures,” Ms Gray said.
