Liquor licence bid

Historic houses in Robe and Mount Gambier are coincidentally seeking residential liquor licences.

Colhurst House in the Blue Lake city is an upmarket accommodation venue.

The two-storied mansion was built in the colonial era and has commanding views of the city.

Meanwhile, William Savage & Co is located in Robe’s main thoroughfare of Victoria Street.

It is a more modest dwelling and is named for a Robe pioneer.

Public comment has been invited on the unrelated licence applications.

If granted, liquor can only be served on the premises.
