Locals face off at Gabba

The Limestone Coast is well represented in the AFL with plenty of home-grown players starring on the national stage.
The SE Voice’s sports journo Will Boston takes a look at how our locals fared in Round 12.

Up forward the Kid from Kyby did well to set up several scores for the Lions as he had a goal assist along with five score involvements

Neale was dominant in the ground contest, recording 11 contested possessions along with five intercept possessions too

This week Neale and the Lions will be back in SA as they face the Crows tomorrow night.

In defence Redman was also solid as he had a season high five spoils

This week Redman and the Bombers have another tough contest as they face the Blues on Sunday night at the G.

Angus Clarke

Angus Clarke did not quite have as big a performance as he did last round on Thursday night but he still played well in his second game of AFL

Clarke recorded 11 disposals, three marks and three tackles against the Lions

Clarke will be on the big stage again on Sunday as the Bombers face the Blues at the G.
