The name Badenochs Deli and ice-cream goes hand in hand, but the Bay Road store offers so much more.

Stacey Von Stanke and her team have redeveloped the Mount Gambier icon, further broadening its appeal to the community.

While the iconic ice-creams remain a staple, the deli has grown to become a one stop shop for ready to go meals, as well as daily household necessities.

The front of the deli has undergone a colourful transformation with a themed mural, plus the cutest pastel coloured picnic tables make the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a break.

Whether it be a gluten free snack box, dairy free ice-cream or crayfish sandwich that you are craving, Badenochs has all your dietary requirements covered.

They also stock the healthy and ever-popular Gym Challenge Meals, ready to go straight from the fridge.

Badenochs opens at 6.30am for all of your brekkie needs, such as egg and bacon rolls and toasties and not to mention quality coffee.

There are also freshly made smoothies, whether they be your healthy option or mixed with something sweet to make them decidedly decadent.

And don’t forget Friday night fish and chips, cooked fresh and hot ‘til 7pm.

Stacey has made a conscious effort to use and stock premium local products, such as The Splendid Egg, Moorak honey and the Carpenters Rocks range of pies and sweet treats.

With the colder weather fast approaching, homemade soups, stews and meats will again be a regular feature of the menu, making the perfect lunch or dinner to warm you up.

You can also find sensational burgers, or your usual bread, milk and papers inside, along with a range of greeting cards, handmade soaps, earrings and other little goodies in store.
