Massive cruise ship to set sail for Robe

Amassic new cruise ship with more than 700 passengers will visit Robe on two occasions next summer.

The Silversea Cruise Ship Silver Nova is due in Robe on November 25 and again on January 6.

The passengers are paying a minimum of $49,950 each for a 47-night cruise around mainland Australia and Tasmania.

Administration staff from the Robe District Council have been liaising with Cruise Vessel Operations about Bay and Marina details for this luxury ship.

The statistics for the Silver Nova reveal it is far larger than any other cruise ship to call at Guichen Bay.

Built in 2023, it has nine decks and a tonnage of 54,700 tonnes.
