Medical grant to support study

The five partners of the Medical Clinic Millicent wish to pass on to one local student a cash grant to assist with their medical or health-related tertiary studies.

Past recipients include Millicent residents Chloe Futcher and Dr Luke Green.

Geltwood Pty Ltd established the annual scholarship a few years ago with the owners of the Short Street practice keen to encourage locals to return to their home region after graduation.

The grant is available to those not only studying to become a general practitioner but anything in a health degree.
