The Limestone Coast is well represented in the AFL with plenty of home-grown players starring on the national stage.

As Close failed to kick a goal for a second game in a row he still made an impact as he had a goal assist as well as four score involvements.

The former Northie will have to get back to his best this week as the Cats face the Saints.

Mason Redman

As the Bombers’ hopes of finals grow smaller and smaller they desperately need a win tomorrow night as they face the Swans at Marvel.

Tom McDonald

In defence McDonald was once again great as he recorded nine spoils.
