This week in very warm conditions, 29 players took to the greens to play 20 ends of 2-4-2. Tournament Director Derek Bowering, welcomed 2 visiting players, Kym Stewart from Kalangadoo and Mathew Eldridge, son of John Eldridge. Derek also reminded players of the upcoming Men’s and Ladies’ Championship Fours which is to be played Sunday 14th February commencing at 8.30 am.
Taking home $29.00 each and winners for the day,was the team of Chris Earl and Glen Schapel with a score of 33+22. Runners -up was the team of David Botting and current Singles Champion Bryan Roper.
Other winning teams for the day were: Peter Bateman, Neil Whelan 32+8. A triple of Ray Doecke, Malcolm Wright and Wayne Burris 32+6. Peter Dunicliff, Glen Tilley 32+4. Ian Kuchel, Peter Scanlon 32+4 and David Nuske, Dirk Pietersma 31+2.
