This week 32 players put their names down to take part in the 2-4-2 game played over 20 end. Before going out to play, Tournament Director Derek Bowering welcomed Wayne Reed, Trudy and Murray Hannaford to the club who are visiting the area and also welcomed back to the club Carl Schapel who has been playing state bowls for the last few years.
This week’s winning pair with a great score of 36+32 only losing 4 ends for the game was the team of Kym Stewart(Kalangadoo Club) and Malcolm Wrigh., Second place went to the team of Derrek Lindh and Andre Reinders with a score of 33+15.
Other winning teams were, Eddie Hann, Alan Correll 32+16, Rob Chambers, Peter Varcoe 32+6, John Eldridge, Sarah Ross 31+6, Peter Dunnicliff, Rod Gibbs 31+3, Lyn Scudds, Neil Whelan 30+2 and Ian Ross, Mary Clifford 29+3.
