The Millicent Bowls Club’s Men’s Championship Fours Grand Final was played on Monday. David Reichel, Peter Bateman, Andre Reinders and Brian Roper faced off with Bill Davis, John Buhlmann, Steve Carnellor and Peter Scanlon in damp conditions.

For the first eight ends, the two teams were neck and neck with Roper’s team just two shots clear. However, Scanlon’s side surged ahead and went on to win five of the next seven ends to secure a 25-17 victory.

This gave Davis, Buhlmann, Carnellor and Scanlon the title of Millicent Bowls Club Men’s Fours Champions for 2021.
