Molly shines on national stage

Young Limestone Coast cyclist Molly Opperman has achieved an impressive second place overall in the Australian Junior Track Series (AJTS) after a strong performance across three rounds in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

Competing in the highly competitive Under 15 division, which drew riders from across the country, the youngster showcased her consistency and determination throughout the series.

The final round, held in Sydney over the weekend, coincided with the National Under 15/17 Omnium, where she placed seventh.

Opperman’s strong results ensured she retained enough points to secure second place in the overall standings.

With Nationals in Brisbane approaching in late March, Opperman’s training continues over the next month as she prepares to take on the country’s best once again.

She extends her gratitude to her coaches, her father Matthew Opperman, Rob Mann, the Limestone Coast Regional Sporting Academy, and JKT Coaching for their ongoing support and guidance.
