WITH the temperature due to hit the late 30s an early morning hit off was required for another strong field of 16 playing in the men’s comp on Wednesday with Murray Frost (13) following up from his earlier victory with another solid round of 40 points and once again Pat Hegarty (21) had another good round to finish runner up with 38 points.

Who was that player who nearly made Paddys Hole with his drive on the 3rd, seems his drive struck the ladies tee marker and shot back past him.
Congratulations to our own Pat Hegarty who was also awarded a life membership on Tuesday, one of the few times Paddy was speechless, well for a little while anyway.
