Musical food sensation cooks up storm

Australia’s singing cook Michelle Pearson returns to Brand’s Laira with her multi-award-winning musical food sensation, Comfort Food Cabaret.


Do not miss this fusion of live music, cooking class, dining and storytelling which is performed as the ultimate dinner and show experience.


After a sellout performance in 2023, Michelle, her three-piece band and traveling kitchen return on October 11 to the Coonawarra to celebrate the Coonawarra Cabernet Wine Festival.


Audiences will enjoy live music with Michelle’s hilarious and heartwarming storytelling through song and recipes that celebrate South Australian produce and award-winning wines from Brand’s Laira.


Diners are serenaded by the songstress as she creates a delicious three course menu celebrating local produce and comfort food accompanied by a live band performing the perfect playlist of jazz, rock and pop.


Since its debut in February 2017, Michelle has performed Comfort Food Cabaret 107 times to over 9000 people in Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe.


Comfort Food Cabaret has been presented at multiple Fringe Festivals in Australia, and sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018, 2019 and 2024


Tasting Australia has sold-out dinner events in 2018, 2019,2021 and 2023.


Michelle has also performed at Copenhagen’s Michelin three-star restaurant Geranium, Australia House and Freemasons Hall in London along with numerous food and arts festivals around Australia.


Audiences have embraced Michelle’s personal tales, delicious recipes and heartfelt interpretations of pop, rock and jazz tunes.


Winner of the coveted South Australian Government’s 2019 Made in Adelaide Award and 2023 Best Food and Drink Event at the Adelaide Fringe, this immersive experience is the perfect addition to the Coonawarra Cabernet Wine Festival.


Tickets include a canapé and drink on arrival plus a three-course dinner cooked by Michelle and her kitchen team.


Wines, beer and non-alcoholic options can be purchased throughout the evening.
