Netballers play in fast forward

After a tough week for players having to shorten their recovery periods and contest night games in wet conditions, the Mount Gambier Netball Association enjoys another quick turnaround for Saturday’s round 7.

A Grade teams will resume rivalries and Vicis will be challenged against a strong Hobitz side.

Intruders hope to dominate again against  Amazons, while Saints look to increase their winning performance against Zodiacs.

A2 sees teams again work hard to gain points on the premiership ladder with the last two games between Hobitz and Saints being decided by less than three goals.

Intruders and Zodiacs will play off with Intruders taking the last two wins, in which Zodiacs will aim to reduce the deficit again.

Teams within the B1 competition also step onto the courts against strong opponents with teams aiming to work hard and take the win.

Amazons and Zodiacs had a close game last time and this will be a great one to watch.

The other two games between Intruders Orange and Hobitz Blue, Hobitz Red and Intruders Black should also be competitive.

B2 witnesses four teams who love to get onto the courts and enjoy a great social game.

In the junior grades, 17 and Under sides show  their dominance in a variety of ways.

Some have stronger defence, others have bril- liant goalies, whilst each side shows hard work  through the mid court.

The 15 and Under teams have thrown up a mixture of results so far and this round is going to be no different.

Teamwork, furthering skills and working as one will be the focus, while the 13 and Under A and B grades also work towards improving their teamwork.

The GO and SET teams continue to work hard and have shown a huge amount of potential each week with their enthusiasm.
