New leader to oversee major forestry operation

Andy Giles Knopp has been appointed as OneFortyOne’s
new chief executive officer.

Mr Giles Knopp has been a key member of OneFortyOne’s executive team since 2016 and will step into the  CEO role previously held by Linda Sewell, who resigned in August after nearly eight years of leadership.

OneFortyOne Chairman John Gilleland said Mr Giles Knopp was a proven leader.

“His ability to balance commercial and people focussed strategy will further strengthen the business,” he said.

Prior to bringing his financial expertise to the forest and timber industries Mr Giles Knopp held a number of senior roles in the telecommunications sector.

Mr Giles Knopp said he was honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead OneFortyOne through an unusual 2020.
