CFS volunteers and aerial bombers are continuing to battle a blaze near Millicent.
The grassfire started on Mount Burr Road and Delaneys Road at Rocky Camp, with authorities initially issuing a watch and act advice.
The threat of the fire has now reduced however people are reminded to take care in the area.
The CFS will remain at the fire into the night, working to extinguish hotspots and strengthen control lines.
Approximately 29 CFS firefighters are currently working on the fireground, supported by Forest Industry Brigades and 6 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft. The operations are also being supported by SA Police and Farm Fire Units.

The Mount Gambier & District Cricket Association’s junior grades have held their grand finals.
In U/12 Penola were able to make up Millicent’s 116 runs in 24 overs after having a strong start to claim the title.
In U/17 Millicent were able to hold off Mil Lel on day two, making 164 runs in 40 overs and holding Mil Lel to 139.

A TOTAL FIRE BAN has been declared for tomorrow in the Lower South East, with an extreme fire danger rating.
