Work is well under way on the new $10m office in Millicent for Wattle Range Council.
In his report to council, program manager Craig Turner said Mossop Construction and Interiors took control of the North Terrace site on June 3 and full perimeter fencing was erected.
He said the former netball rooms had been demolished, grass removed and the site was levelled.
“Teagle Contracting is delivering the new fill, “Mr Turner said.
“Walker and Gray Earthworks are now shaping and compacting this material ready for boxing up for the floor slab and footings.
“All subcontractors are now appointed by Mossop and have been working to prepare for the construction phase of the project.
“TimberLink are currently manufacturing laminated timber beams; shop drawings are being produced for Kruger Engineering and K&B Timber to manufacture steel work and internal framing.
“Stuckey Electrical Contractors, Maloney Plumbing and Vivid Glass Windows and Doors are each placing orders in line with the project timeline.”
