Apollo will head to Casadio Park on Sunday to face first placed International in the battle for the Michielan Cup.
Inter has defeated Apollo twice this season with the last game being much more competitive than the first.
Last time Apollo played well against Inter in the first half but struggled in the second as they failed to hold a two goal lead.
Inter is coming off a good win over Gambier Centrals last round where it was competitive in the first half but they locked in after half time to pick up the win.
Last week Apollo suffered a tough loss where once again they went into halftime with a lead but failed to keep it.
Inter coach Tony D’Agostino is hoping to have a few more players back this week and is expecting that this game will be another tough challenge for his side.
“It would be nice to go into a game and have a bit of a bench and at the moment we have not had that luxury, Apollo has been tough and apart from Blue Lake Apollo have probably tested us this year especially in the second game and we are aware of what they have got and it’s going to be a test,” he said.
“We are playing for the Michielan Cup so that gives our boys a bit more of an incentive and I think because we’re playing at home we should go in with an advantage of coming out with a win.”
Naracoorte United v Blue Lake
Blue Lake will head to Naracoorte on Sunday to take on Naracoorte United, and last time these sides played it was not pretty.
Blue Lake came away with a 16-1 victory over Naracoorte at home so United will be looking to improve on that performance.
Blue Lake are coming off a hard fought victory over Apollo last round which should give them plenty of confidence going into this game plus having a week off to refresh.
Naracoorte should be very ready to play after not playing for two weeks, most of the squad should be well rested as Naracoorte continue to look for their first win.
