Amemorial to a local resident has recently been placed at “The Blowhole” at Beachport.

A wooden picnic table and bench seating was installed with the assistance of members of the Lions Club of Beachport and Rivoli Bay.

It carries a plaque stating that Phyllis White-Kerr (1928-2019) was now reunited at sea with her beloved husband Bob White.

He was a local lobster fisherman who drowned nearby in 1967.

Vicki Lane, a niece of Phyllis White-Kerr, also assisted with the memorial.
