Pioneers land emerging Victorian talent

Chloe Hildebrand has committed to the Mount Gambier Pioneers for the 2025 NBL1 South season.

The OneFortyOne Pioneers have added to their roster, signing Chloe Hildebrand in readiness for the 2025 NBL1 South conference season.

Following the Victorian pathway through Big V and NBL1 South competition, Hildebrand has gained valuable experience in elite programs strengthening her ability to contribute at both ends of the floor in both Big V and NBL1 South competition.

This year she joins the OneFortyOne Pioneers to continue her development within the country’s premier winter competition.

The last two season’s Hildebrand has played with the Sunbury Jets in the Big V competition. In 2024 she played with the Sunbury Jets where she averaged 18.4 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 3.9 assist per game.

Prior to her seasons in the Big V, Hildebrand has also competed at the NBL1 level with both the Keilor Thunder and Eltham Wildcats between 2018 and 2022.

“Chloe joins us after an impressive season in the Big V, she’ll support our guard depth and provide a real spark,” Head Coach Matt Sutton said.

“She’s tough and has a knack for getting in the paint, making her a very valuable player for us.”

Hildebrand’s signing adds depth to the OneFortyOne Pioneers roster as the club prepares for pre season games throughout March the upcoming season.

With her tenacity and skill set, Hildebrand is set to make an impact for the Pioneers when she hits the floor at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre in 2025.

Both the OneFortyOne and Castec Rural Pioneers kick off their pre-season this weekend with the annual four team challenge being held in Millicent.

Be sure to get down to Millicent over the weekend to support the teams as they prepare for the 2025 NBL1 South season.
