Players set sights on finals

After a great start there are only four games left in the Mount Gambier Netball Association (MGNA) regular league until finals start.

This week will see the best-performing A grade teams line up against those  lower on the ladder.

In the A2 league, a play off between first and second will occur when Hobitz and Intruders meet.

Hobitz hold the upper hand, but Intruders are finishing off the season strong.

The match of the grade in B1 will be played between Zodiacs and Amazons.

Sitting second and third on the ladder, the two teams have had close games previously, with this matchup likely similar.

Games within B2 this week will see a mix, with each player taking to the court with nothing to lose.

A tough game last week for Hobitz Red in the Under 17s competition will see them have another challenge  this week against Intruders, in a great warmup for the finals.

Under 15 players have a mix of games this week.

The inhouse battle between Zodiacs Blue and Zodiacs Gold will be a challenge for the latter.

The Under 13A youngsters are shaping up for a great finals series.

Saints  will be challenged this week up against a top of the table Zodiacs team.

This will be a fantastic game to watch with both teams level on points.

The Under 13Bs will also have the top two teams clashing this week, in what will be a prelude to the finals.

Intruders, who are yet to be beaten, take on the second-placed Hobitz Blue.

One goal separated the sides last time they played, which ensures this will be a nail biter for those on the sidelines again.

Four games remain in the Go and Set competition until these young stars get to hang up their shoes until next season.
