Police look out for ‘hot’ property

Police are investigating the theft of a decommissioned fire truck from a Mount Gambier business in April.


Just before 9am on April 28 a Mitsubishi fire truck, (pictured) was stolen from a business site on Avey Road, Mount Gambier.


The stolen truck is a red 2000 Mitsubishi decommissioned fire truck with SA registration XS42AV and is fitted with aluminium sliding compartments, roof trays and a red fire hose fitted to the rear.


There are distinctive decals of “Queensland Fire and Rescue” on the truck.


The fire truck has not yet been located.
