Prominent farming property to change hands

The major “Tuckwood” mixed farming enterprise between Millicent and Robe is set to change hands.

Contracts have been signed for the four parcels of land which total almost 2700 acres.

The selling agents described “Tuckwood “as a unique opportunity to secure a land holding in the extremely tightly held and highly regarded area of Clay Wells.

The Tucker family engaged Elders and Merrett Livestock as agents in conjunction and the sale to local interests was conducted by the expression of interest process.

The property is said to be ideally suited to prime lamb and cattle production

“Tuckwood” has areas of scrub and blue gum plantations, two dwellings and extensive yards and sheds.
