Race on towards finals

The second half of the Mid South East Netball Association season kicks off in earnest this weekend, as round 10 gets under way.

Mount Burr will host Kongorong, Port MacDonnell will travel to Kalangadoo, while Hatherleigh will play Glencoe at home and Tantanoola will make a trip to the seaside to face Robe.

Kalangadoo remains top of the ladder after only experiencing the one defeat, with Glencoe in second and Tant third.

Robe sits fourth, followed by Port MacDonnell, Mount Burr, Hatherleigh, Kongorong and Nangwarry.

Mount Burr v Kongorong

Mount Burr will host Kongorong, in what will likely be a one-sided affair.

Last week the Hawks proved no match for Port MacDonnell, while Mount Burr lost to Glencoe by 11.

Last time these sides met in round 1, the Burr managed a 10-goal win over Kongorong.

Robe v Tantanoola

The game between Robe and Tantanoola will be the match of the round, in a fourth versus third clash.

Robe should be fresh coming off the bye, while Tant had a seven goal win over Hatherleigh last week.

Only two goals separated these two sides when they met in round 1, with Tant winning 53-51.

Kalangadoo v Port MacDonnell

Both the Pies and the Demons are coming off good wins last week, as Kalangadoo easily accounted for Nangwarry, while the Bay downed Kongorong by 31.

This week should see a repeat of round 1, when the Pies proved too strong, winning 56-34

Hatherleigh v Glencoe

The Murphies will be looking to inflict another loss on the Eagles on Saturday, in a repeat performance of round 1 when Glencoe took the win by 20.

Last week Glencoe proved too strong for Mount Burr, while Hatherleigh went down to Tant by seven.

Nangwarry has the bye.
