Red hot start to Glenelg arts season

After a long hiatus, it was time to raise the curtain of the Portland Arts Centre and launch the ARTSGLENELG program for 2022.

The arts centre turned red on Saturday in preparation for Rouge, with the circus and cabaret performance immediately following the launch.

The 45-minute launch featured actor and comedian Damian Callinan, who as MC led guests through the excellent variety of high quality and affordable performances and exhibitions programmed next year.

The free event officially launched the new season of the 2022 ARTSGLENELG program, including live theatre and exhibitions.

Afterwards guests gathered in the PAC foyer for nibbles and drinks followed by a performance of Rouge – a decadent blend of sensational acrobatics, operatic cabaret, and tongue in cheek burlesque.

Rouge is raunchy, raucous circus for grown-ups.
