Redemption day for Inter against Blue Lake

Inter v Blue Lake

Blue Lake will play Inter this week at Casadio Park on Sunday.

Blue Lake got the win over Inter back on Anzac Day with a 1-0 victory, but since then Inter has struggled as they have picked up two draws and are still looking for a win.

Blue Lake have been a bit up and down lately as they have had one win and a draw in their last five games.

With both sides not in the best of form this win will be up for grabs and with how competitive their last game together was this

Centrals v Naracoorte United

Naracoorte United will head to MGA Park this week as they take on Centrals.

Last time these sides played Centrals won 7-0.

Both sides are coming off tough losses as Naracoorte fell to Blue Lake by 15 goals and Centrals fell short to Inter by two.

Centrals are in dire need to get a win as their last victory was back in the first week of May.

Naracoorte have probably been struggling more as they still have not picked up a single point yet this season.

A game like this is perfect for Centrals to get back on track after a few tough weeks.

Senior Men

Inter v Blue Lake

Blue Lake will head to Casadio Park again to take on Inter on Sunday.

Last time these sides played back on Anzac Day Blue Lake came away with the win in an absolute thriller, coming back from 0-3 to win 5-4.

Both sides are coming off solid wins in the last round and they will be well rested and ready for a great match after a weekend off.

Inter Head Coach Tony D’Agostino believes this game will be another tough matchup for his side.

“It’s going to be a tough game, it’s the top of the table with one against two and it’s going to be really built up to a classic game,” he said.

“We’re expecting it’s going to be a high scoring game, last year we played a game and it was 7-6 and this year it was 5-4 so there are going to be plenty of goals in it.

“I think that we are in a better position at the moment and I think we are better as a defensive unit so I’m hoping we can do the job, but I’m expecting it’s going to be a tough game and Blue Lake are playing some extremely good football and we are going to have to be at our best to match them.”

Senior Women

Gambier Centrals v Naracoorte United

Naracoorte United will head to MGA Park on Saturday to take on Centrals.

Last time these sides played Centrals picked up the three points with a 2-1 victory.

Both sides picked up points last round as Centrals came up with a big win and Naracoorte ended up sharing points with Millicent.

Heading into this game Centrals will be looking to move up to second on the ladder with second place Millicent playing the undefeated Apollo this week.

Naracoorte have been able to get a couple points this season but are still searching for their first win.

Millicent United v Apollo

Apollo will head to Millicent this week to face Millicent United.

Apollo got the win last time these sides played with Millicent playing well but falling short in the 1-0 defeat.

That was the lowest scoring game for Apollo this season as their undefeated run continues heading into this game.

Millicent have been playing well in their last three games, winning two and drawing one as they sit second on the ladder.

If Apollo were to drop points to someone I can see it coming from Millicent with how well they have been playing over the past few weeks.
