Renamed service club in operation

The region’s newest service club started late last month.

The Millicent Lioness Club became the Lions Club of Wattle Range Lioness when it received its charter from Lions District Governor Norm Sommerville.

The charter dinner was held at the clubrooms of the Millicent United Soccer Club with an attendance of 85.

The Millicent Lions Club sponsored its formation. The change follows a Lions International direction to re-structure Lioness clubs across the globe.

The Millicent charter president is Joan Lucas and the new club has 20 members.
