Tenders close on Thursday for repairs and upgrades to the Millicent saleyards.
The works will address a number of risks identified last year in a safety audit at the facility.
Upgrades are needed to the truck wash bay and fixed platforms as well as the design and construction of a new double height loading ramp near the cattle yards.
The required tasks are predominantly steel fabrication and installation but include some demolition, earthworks, electrical, plumbing, and concrete placement.
