The Robe District Council is being overseen by its fifth administrative head in the space of six months.
Incumbent chief executive officer James Holyman went on leave in March and subsequently resigned.
There have since been four others who have occupied the role on a temporary basis since then.
Mayor Lisa Ruffell has explained the reason for the latest appointment.
“Sadly, we had to say goodbye to the acting chief executive officer Deb Brokenshire on September 18 as she departed … for family reasons,” Mayor Ruffell said in her monthly report.
“A huge thank you to you Deb for all her incredible work over the past few months.
“With that, we welcome to the team Pauline Koritsa who has taken over the CEO (Acting) position for the period during which the CEO recruitment process is progressing.
“The elected members and I are looking forward to working with her and please be sure to give her a warm welcome to Robe if you see her around.”
Meanwhile, Mayor Ruffell has announced another staffing change.
“Former general inspector/harbour master Adam Rayner sadly left the council to make the move to sunny and warm Queensland a few weeks ago,” she said.
“We are very grateful to Adam for all his hard work during his time here at Roe District Council and we wish him all the very best with his new adventure.
“Replacing Adam is Max Perry who previously worked with the council assisting in this role.”
