Robe court to become sea of red as seasiders host Tantanoola

Robe hosts Tantanoola in what is set to be a tight game of in the 11th round of the 2022 Mid South Eastern Netball Association.

The Tigers will want to redeem themselves after their loss in round two and will come out firing.

Tantanoola’s Kate Bromley and Tayla Rowe will put the pressure on Robe’s goalies, Sarah Laurie and Tori Gluyas.

The tussle between Halle Carter and Casey Walker on the ring will be one to watch, with both fighting for every ball.

Emma Gould and Jami Walker’s accuracy in the goal circle will be a focal point for the Tigers.

The Roosters may prove too much for Tantanoola.

Kalangadoo v Glencoe

Kalangadoo will come out firing against the Hawks on Saturday after last week’s loss.

Tilah Buckingham and Evie Sealey will combine well in the goal circle, with Buckingham’s height and accuracy being a focal point of Kongorong’s attack.

Kalangadoo’s Abbey Duncan and Kori Collins shoot with accuracy and move fluidly in the goal circle, however the defensive pressure from Lauren Kain and Reanna Weatherall will cause disruptions.

Jayde Peacock and Kristy Egan will apply to pressure and work the ball down the court with ease.

Kalangadoo will combine well and come away with the points.

Hatherleigh v Nangwarry

The Eagles head down to Nangwarry this week to face off against the Saints, and they will be hoping for a win after last week’s loss to the Mozzies.

Hatherleigh’s strength through the midcourt in Erin Watson and Tegan Telfer, will allow them to pick off any loose balls and convert centre passes to add to their score.

The defensive combination of Demi Vanderhorst and Lara MacGregor for Hatherleigh will create pressure in the goal circle.

However Nangwarry’s Tahlia Wilson and Ange Pratt will earn every pass and utilise their scoring opportunities.

Shannon Higgins and Hayley Burner from the Saints will put the pressure for Hatherleigh’s goalies with their interceptions and rebounds.

At the end of the game the Eagles should come away with the points.

Mount Burr v Glencoe

After a close contest in round 2, both Mount Burr and Glencoe will be looking for the win in what will be the match of the round.

The Murphies defensive combination of Sarah Edwards and Chantelle Cocks will make Mount Burr goalies, Ebony Clark and Zoe Brown, earn every possession and fight for any rebounds.

The accuracy of Glencoe’s Malinda Markiewicz and Jenna Paproth will prove to be a focal point, however the defensive pressure from Madi Haggett and Olivia Dean will mean that Markiewicz and Paproth will have to earn every possession.

Laura Schultz will work hard for the “Burr” to keep Donna Jaeschke out of the game, and the tussle between the two will be one to watch.

After another close game, Mount Burr should come away with the win.
