Roosters and Eagles meet in Anzac clash as Mozzies look to down Hawks

Robe hosts Hatherleigh in its annual Anzac Day Mid South East netball clash, as well as the match of the round.

Both teams will be looking to finish the day with a win and they will come out fighting.

The strength of Tori Gluyas in the circle will be a strong point for Robe, making Hatherleigh’s defence work hard for any turnover.

Chelsea Galpin will put the pressure on the Roosters at the wing, picking off any loose balls.

Hatherleigh’s goalies will also be under pressure from Robe’s Ellen Ramke and Emma Grant in the circle.

The tussle between last year’s Anzac medallist Tegan Telfer and Annie Hunter down the court will be one to watch.

This game could go either way with both teams eager to win the points.

Nangwarry is struggling to find its groove, but the strength of Hayley Burner and Shannon Higgins in the defensive line will make Glencoe goalies Jenna Paproth and Malinda Markiewicz fight for every opportunity.

Tahlia Wilson and Ange Pratt will combine well in Nangwarry’s attacking circle, but the defensive pressure of Sarah Edwards and Chantelle Cocks may prove to be to be too strong for the Saints.

Markiewicz and Paproth’s strength in the goal circle should help guide Glencoe to victory.

Mount Burr is raring to gain another win against Kongorong this week.

The accuracy of Ebony Clark in the goal circle, with Laura Schultz feeding from the outside will be key for the Mozzies.

The strong combination of Madi Haggett and Olivia Dean in Mount Burr’s defensive circle will put the pressure on for the Hawks.

However, with Tilah Buckingham returning to the goal circle for Kongorong, Mount Burr’s defence will have to work hard to force turnovers as there will be limited opportunities for rebounds.

The Mozzie’s skill and experience could lead them to victory over Kongorong’s younger side.

After two weeks off Port MacDonnell enters the game against Kalangadoo well rested.

The combination of Alana Winter and Megan Hein in their defensive end will fight for every ball against Kalangadoo’s Estella Serle and Kori Collins.

Sophie Wrightson and Jayde Peacock will feed accurately into the goalies for the Magpies, against the pressure of Liza Mutch and Rachel Perry.

Kalangadoo’s strength down the court will make it a difficult game for the Demons as they fight for every opportunity.

This game may be a close one.
