Safety checks

Hundreds of motorists are expected to have their vehicle headlights checked tonight (Thursday).

It is timely as the winter months of darkness, fog and poor visibility are approaching.

For a gold coin donation, the safety measures will be undertaken by Rotarians and volunteer mechanics between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at Millicent Farm Supplies, Mount Gambier’s Barry Maney Group, Bordertown’s Wise Ford and Naracoorte Battery Service.

The checks are an annual initiative of the Limestone Coast Local Government Association, local Rotary clubs and road safety groups.
